The prayer life of Jesus wasn't just about words spoken in quiet moments. It was a lifestyle, a constant communion with the Father that transformed everything it touched. And the incredible thing is, through Jesus, we're invited into that same intimacy, that same transformative relationship with God.

So maybe, just maybe, it's time for us to follow in Jesus' footsteps. To climb our own mountainsides, to find our own quiet moments, and to open our hearts to the Father who's been waiting to hear from us all along. After all, if prayer was essential for the Son of God, how much more so for us?

From Prayer to Work, and Back to Prayer: Explosive Results!

Mark 1:35

 “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.”

Awesome glory to God our Father, Who in His merciful kindness has blessed us with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord as a patterned Man for us to reach good success. He is all that is required to achieve mighty feats on earth and reach our destiny. 

God has given unto us in Christ Jesus all we need. 1 Corinthians 1:30 plainly states; “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption”. Jesus Christ has become the wisdom, righteousness, holiness and rapture/immortality we quietly but desperately need! 

He is the totality of God’s blessing for us. There is nothing God has for us that is not in Christ Jesus and nothing do we need that is not found in Him. “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). 

In our text above, Jesus through His lifestyle laid down for us how to lead our lives to attain maximum satisfaction and prosperity. 

There are many of such guidelines littered across the Bible, especially in the Gospels. They are not written out as points or listed out just like the Ten Commandments of Moses. The life and living of Jesus Christ, which some refer to as story, is actually a way of life to be kept even more than the Jews were expected to keep the Law of Moses. 

We are warned in Hebrews chapter two to give a more earnest heed to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ lest they slip out of our hearts. Because, if by breaking any law of Moses, one received instant judgment, how then can one escape if they neglect the words of Him that is greater than Moses. 

Seeing how Jesus lived His life, we can no longer be surprised as to how He was not like the Scribes and Pharisees but as One with authority, dominance and explosive results. 

Before the light of the morning when the sun rises, Jesus had risen to arise and shine. He literally antedated every morning and dominated the day. He seemed to have been creating and determining every of His day. 

And while it is day, He launched out to the dominate and work wonders. 

In Mark 1:35-42, immediately Jesus left praying, He dashed out to preach powerfully and He expelled terrible demons. When a leper drew near Him for healing, just with a touch from Jesus, the leprosy vanished and the leper was made clean every whit. 

The mighty miracles and loud results were too many that “Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter” (Mark 1:45).

All these were possibilities in His life because He was a Man of prayer. There was no time He was out without saving lives and working miracles. His entire life was characterized with marvelous results. 

And at anytime He was done making results, He immediately resorted to prayers. 

This is the secret of constant heavy, supernatural results. Results are not made by mere human strength or wisdom. It is by the Spirit of the Living God. You should be able to receive words from God’s mouth and the energy to bring them to pass accordingly 

Jesus was only coming out to replicate what He saw the Father do in the place of prayer. 

In John 5:19, Jesus clearly reveals to us the secret of His mighty results. “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

This is how Jesus expects us to live. Staying with the Father to only come out to establish His revealed desire!

This He also revealed when He was ordaining His apostles. Mark 3:14 says “And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach.”

They were ordained first to be with Him and then to be sent forth to bring results. Because mighty results are only products of intimacy with Jesus. Interactions with the Father by the Spirit of grace and prayer are a precursor to jaw-breaking, unimaginable wonders. 

There is no other means to acquire mighty works joyfully other than this. You are not only given the heart of the Father, but also accompanying this revelation is given the authority and power to create what has been received. 

Oh, that all Christian may live the life of Jesus. That they may receive from the Father to even do greater works for the world to marvel!

And so it was that, after that Jesus had finished establishing the desire of the Father among the people, He straightaway withdrew Himself into the Father. 

Luke 5:16 “And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.”

He returned to the Father to receive further instructions and works.  Such was His life. 

So the testimonies recorded in the Peter Family Church can be traced to this kind of life lived by the founder, Bishop Dr Musa Peter Omale. He meets with the Trinity before meeting men. He mingles with the angels before he is seen in the crowd. Consequently, the atmosphere of heaven encompasses his life and ministry which results to distinguished and substantial miracles!

4. Lead a holy life. (For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy". 1 Peter 1:16)

5. Search and rescue people and bring them in to the love and kingdom of God through Jesus Christ our Lord

6. Maximize members capabilities, happiness and welfare

7. Practice adaptive high energy entrepreneurship 

8. Help people care for their heart health

9. Honour God with their wealth:

   - Offering

   - Tithe

   - Firstfruits

   - Vow offering

   - Special seed sowing

10. Ask their Bishop for daily assignments

11. We praise God all the time in jubilation.
